This bowl was originally supposed to have that beautiful crackled green glaze look you can see in other pieces. However, due to over-firing, the glaze ended up bubbling up and giving this green-metallic look to it (which I love, if I'm honest).
It has become a decorative piece as it is no longer food safe, but it will brighten up your sitting room.
The clay used for this is a vulcan black stoneware and it was fired to 1240 celsius during glaze firing.
